Dr. Ian Koo, ND, R.Ac. is trained in general family medicine and has a special interest in helping to improve the quality of life for those living with chronic conditions such as auto-immune diseases, arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders and skin conditions. Ian has had specialized training in the area of pain management and is one of a few NDs approved by Canada Post to provide care for chronic low back pain, rotator cuff tendonitis and anxiety. In addition to medical acupuncture, Ian is certified to perform cosmetic acupuncture. As part of an overall health regimen, Ian helps establish individualized, safe and effective weight loss programs. A featured guest on Rogers Day Time TV, Ian has also contributed to various health magazines, including Life Peak. Ian is often a guest speaker at events such as the Living Health Symposium at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric care and at Chapters Indigo stores in the GTA. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ian has incorporated time-tested healing wisdom with his modern scientific training.
